The CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS Z motor driver (part 115018) is the OEM stepper motor driver for the Z axis on CreatBot's current HS printers: the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D1000 Pro HS. The Z axis controls layer height. Each time a layer finishes, the main control board tells the Z driver to step the axis by a precise amount, and the driver supplies the current that moves the Z motor. Signs the Z motor driver may need replacing
Uneven layers, banding or parts that finish at the wrong height.
The Z axis does not move, moves erratically or the motor only buzzes.
Z homing or bed mesh leveling stops with an error.
The Z motor runs normally from a known good driver channel.
Mechanical problems such as a binding lead screw or loose coupler cause similar faults. Rule those out, or ask Rev1 support to help.

CreatBot uses part number 115018 for more than one driver listing: this Z motor driver, the extruder motor driver for the same printers plus the D800 Ultra and D1200 Ultra, and the TMC5160 drive (V2). When you order, tell Rev1 your printer model and which axis you are repairing so the right module ships. The D1000 Pro HS X and Y axes use separate parts, 115019 and 115020.
Installation tips
Clear the build plate, power the printer off and unplug it. Photograph the fitted driver so its orientation is clear, then install the new module the same way round and reconnect the Z motor cable. Home the printer, run bed mesh leveling and print a tall test part.
