Signs the Y-axis belt needs replacing

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D600 Pro2 Y drive also uses a closed loop belt, part 143006, and the X axis uses part 143004. The D600 Pro uses Y-axis belt 143002 and the D600 Pro2 HS uses 143008.
Choosing between the two Y belts
CreatBot lists two Y belts for the D600 Pro2. Part 143005 is the Y-axis belt that moves the axis, normally fixed at its ends. Part 143006 is the closed loop belt, an endless loop of the type that carries drive between pulleys. Check which belt is damaged before you order. If they are the same age, replacing both at once saves a second strip-down.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it. Take a photo of the belt path and end clamps before removing anything. If the Y axis is driven on both sides, set matching tension on each side to keep the gantry square. Fit and tension the new belt, run the axis by hand through its travel, then home the printer and print a calibration square.
