Signs the X motor needs replacing
Layers step sideways in X partway through a print.
The print head moves unevenly or makes a clicking or grinding sound.
The X axis does not reach its home position, or stops while other axes keep moving.
The motor is unusually hot after normal printing.
Belt tension, pulley set screws and the motor cable should be checked first. If the problem stays with the motor, a genuine replacement is the fix.
Which X motor does my D600 Pro2 HS use?
CreatBot lists two X motors for the D600 Pro2 HS: this motor, part 132008, and the X closed-loop motor, part 132001. They are not interchangeable without checking, so compare against the motor in your printer or send Rev1 your serial number and a photo of the motor label. We will confirm the correct part before you order.

The matching Y motor is part 132009. The D600 Pro uses different motors (X 132006, Y 132007).
Installation tips
Disconnect power before opening the printer. Photograph the cable routing, release the X belt tension and remove the old motor. Move the pulley across if needed, keeping it at the same position on the shaft so the belt tracks straight. Re-tension, home the printer and print a test part with long X moves.
