D600 Pro2 Sink Fan (Hotend Heat Sink Fan)

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D600 Pro2 also uses a print cooling fan (150029), a power supply cooling fan (150030) and a cross flow fan (150031). The D600 Pro uses sink fan 150024, and the D600 Pro2 HS uses its own sink fan, part 150001.
Before you take the hotend apart
Many hotend jams start with a tired sink fan. Before you strip the hotend, heat it up and look at the sink fan: it should spin at once and run steadily at full speed. Clean any dust or filament strands out of the heat sink fins, since blocked fins have the same effect as a slow fan. If the fan is weak or noisy, replace it, then clear the jam. Clearing the jam without fixing the fan usually means the jam returns.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let the hotend cool fully. Note which way the old fan faces and how its cable runs, then fit the new fan in the same direction so it blows through the heat sink fins. Route the cable away from the heater block and any moving parts. Heat the hotend and confirm the fan runs before printing.
