D600 Pro2 HS Y Axis Closed-Loop Motor
The CreatBot D600 Pro2 HS Y closed-loop motor (part 132002) is the OEM motor that drives the Y axis on the CreatBot D600 Pro2 HS. On a high speed printer the Y axis has to start, stop and reverse quickly while carrying its load, which is exactly the situation where an open-loop motor can slip. Why replace with the genuine closed-loop motor
The D600 Pro2 HS motion settings were tuned around CreatBot's own motors.
Fitting an open-loop motor in its place would remove the position checking the HS relies on.
As the motor you are removing, so the swap is direct.
Signs it needs replacing
Position or motor errors reported on the Y axis.
Front to back layer shifts, or a Y axis that hesitates and then jumps.
Grinding, whining or vibration from the Y motor during fast moves.
A cable fault or a loose encoder connector can cause the same errors, so check those first or ask Rev1 support to help.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The X axis uses closed-loop motor 132001. CreatBot also lists Y motor 132009 for the D600 Pro2 HS; Rev1 can confirm which Y motor your printer has from its serial number.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it. Photograph the motor and encoder connectors, then release the Y belt tension and unbolt the motor. Fit the new motor the same way round, align the pulley with the belt and restore tension. Reconnect both the motor and encoder wiring, home all axes and run a high speed test print.
