Installation tips
Power down and unplug the printer. A closed-loop motor carries encoder wiring as well as the motor wiring, so photograph every connection before you unplug anything and make sure each connector is fully seated on reassembly. Relieve belt tension, swap the motor, align the pulley with the belt and re-tension. Home the printer and run a fast test print to confirm the X axis holds position.
