This belt is for the D600 Pro2 HS. Its Y axis uses a Y-axis belt (143008) and a Y-axis closed loop belt (143009). The standard D600 Pro2 uses X-axis belt 143004 and the D600 Pro uses 143001.
Why belt condition matters more at high speed
At high acceleration, any stretch in a belt behaves like a spring between the motor and the print head. The head overshoots and oscillates after each corner, which you see as ringing. Keeping a fresh, correctly tensioned belt on the X axis is one of the simplest ways to keep an HS printer producing clean surfaces at the speeds it was built for.
Installation tips
Power off and unplug the printer. Photograph the belt path, tensioner and the clamps at the carriage. Install the new belt along the same route with the teeth fully seated in the pulley, set firm, even tension and move the carriage by hand from end to end. Home the printer and print a test part at your usual speed settings.
