The CreatBot D600 Pro2 HS temperature sensor (part 106001) is an OEM replacement sensor for the CreatBot D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS. A temperature sensor tells the control board how hot a heated component is, and the board uses that reading to switch the heater on and off. If the reading is wrong or missing, the printer cannot hold a stable temperature and will often stop with an error, so a faulty sensor takes the machine out of service until it is replaced. Signs your temperature sensor needs replacing
The touchscreen shows a temperature error, or a reading that is clearly impossible for the current state of the printer.
The displayed temperature jumps around or drops out while the printer is running.
The printer stops heating or aborts prints with a thermal fault.
The sensor lead is pinched, frayed or broken, or the connector is damaged.
A loose connector or damaged cable can cause the same symptoms. Check the wiring first, or contact Rev1 support and we will help you narrow down the fault.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
CreatBot also lists part 106002 (D1000 HS temperature sensor) for these same two printers. The non-HS D600 Pro2 and D1000 use part 106011 or 106012, the D600 and D600 Pro use part 106008, and the D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS and D400 HS use the Pro-HS heating sensor, part 106015.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let all heated parts cool fully before you start. Photograph the sensor connector and the cable routing before removing the old sensor. Route the new lead along the same path, clear of moving parts and hot surfaces, and secure it so it cannot rub or flex at one point. After installation, power up and confirm the displayed temperature reads normally at room temperature, then heat up and run a short test print.
