Signs the heating tube needs replacing
The hotend heats slowly or never reaches its set temperature.
The printer reports a heating fault or thermal error during warm up.
Under extrusion or weak layer bonding that appears as the temperature sags mid print.
Damaged, pinched or burnt lead wires at the cartridge.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
CreatBot also lists the D1000 HS heating tube (part 105002) for these same two printers. If you are matching the part already in your machine, send Rev1 your serial number and we will confirm which one you have. Newer Pro HS and Ultra printers (D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS, D800 Ultra, D1200 Ultra) use part 105014. The standard D600 Pro2 without HS uses part 105011 or 105010.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool completely before you touch the heating block. Photograph the connector and wire routing before you disconnect the old heating tube. Loosen the retaining screw, slide the old cartridge out, and seat the new one fully in the block before tightening. Route the leads away from moving parts and hot surfaces so they cannot rub or melt. After the swap, heat the hotend and watch that it reaches and holds temperature, then run a PID tune if your printer supports it and make a short test print.
