Signs the auto-rising servo needs replacing
The inactive nozzle does not lift, or lifts and then sags.
Dual extrusion prints show drag marks, ooze trails or blobs from the idle nozzle.
The servo makes a buzzing or clicking noise, or moves in small jerks.
Switching between nozzles leaves the active nozzle at an inconsistent height.

Installation tips
Turn the printer off and allow the hotends to cool fully. Take a photo of the servo, its linkage and the connector before you start. Swap the servo in the same orientation, reconnect it and route the cable away from the heater blocks and moving belts. Power on, confirm that the idle nozzle rises all the way and that both nozzles return to the right height, then run a dual extrusion test print.
