The CreatBot D600 Pro2 heating PTC (part 173010) is the heater for the enclosed build chamber of the CreatBot D600 Pro2. Large format printing in engineering materials depends on a warm chamber. About PTC heaters
PTC stands for positive temperature coefficient. The element's resistance rises as it heats, so it reduces its own output as it warms. That self-limiting behavior is why it is used to heat enclosures.
Installation tips
Power off, unplug and let the chamber cool. Photograph the connections, remove the old heater, and mount the new one in the same orientation with its leads secured away from the gantry. Close the doors and run chamber heating once before you start a production job.
