Signs the filament chamber heater needs replacing
The filament chamber no longer feels warm, or the printer reports a filament chamber fault.
Dry filament starts to pop, string or leave bubbled surfaces partway through long prints.
Moisture problems appear on materials that printed cleanly from the same setup before.
A heater lead or connector is damaged or discolored.
Not every moisture problem is a heater fault. A spool that was wet before loading, or a filament chamber door left open, can cause the same symptoms. Rev1 support can help you tell the difference.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D600 Pro uses part 182015 and the D600 Pro2 HS uses part 182017. This part heats the filament chamber only. The D600 Pro2 build chamber heater is part 182010.
Installation tips
Remove the spools and unload the filament. Switch the printer off, unplug it and let the filament chamber cool. Photograph the heater wiring, replace the heater in the same position and keep the leads clear of the spool holders and filament path. Power up with the filament chamber door closed and check that it warms and holds temperature. Reload dry filament and run a short test print.

Can I print without the filament chamber heater?
PLA and PETG are usually fine for short jobs. Nylon, PC and PVA are much more likely to cause problems on long prints without it.
