The CreatBot D600 Pro2 cross flow fan (part 150031) is the OEM cross flow fan for the CreatBot D600 Pro2 3D printer. A cross flow fan, sometimes called a tangential or barrel fan, uses a long impeller to move air in a wide, flat band. Signs the cross flow fan needs replacing
Weak or uneven airflow along the outlet, or none at all.
A grinding, humming or squeaking sound while the printer runs.
The fan takes a long time to spin up or stops on its own.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The other D600 Pro2 fans are the sink fan (150028), the print cooling fan (150029) and the power supply cooling fan (150030). The original D600 Pro uses cross flow fan 150027 and the D1000 uses 150035.
Maintenance between replacements
Cross flow fans are durable, but their long blades trap dust and filament fibers. A quick clean during routine maintenance keeps airflow up and reduces wear on the bearings. With the printer unplugged, spin the impeller by hand: it should turn smoothly with no grinding or wobble. Rough rotation that remains after cleaning means the fan is due for replacement.
Installation tips
Switch the printer off and unplug it before opening any covers. Photograph the fan position, mounting screws and connector. Install the new fan the same way round, check that nothing touches the impeller, reconnect, close the covers and confirm the fan runs when you power on.
