D600 Pro Z Motor (Z-Axis Drive Motor)
The CreatBot D600 Pro Z motor (part 131023) is the original Z-axis drive motor for the CreatBot D600 Pro. Every time a layer finishes, the Z motor moves the axis by one layer height. If it misses steps, binds or stalls, the result is visible straight away as banding, layers that are too thin or too thick, or a print that separates partway up. Signs the Z motor needs replacing
The Z axis will not home, or stops partway when you jog it.
Regular banding or horizontal lines that were not there before.
Rough, loud or grinding movement from the Z drive.
First layer height changes from print to print even after leveling.
Dirty or dry Z guides, a loose coupling or a cable fault can produce the same results. Check those first, or contact Rev1 support for help.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
This motor is specific to the D600 Pro. The D600 Pro2 uses Z motor 131026 and the D600 Pro2 HS uses 131001. The D600 Pro extruder motors are parts 131021 (E1) and 131022 (E2).
Installation tips
Switch the printer off and unplug it before you open any covers. Block or support the Z assembly so it cannot move once the motor is released. Label the connector, note the cable route, and fit the new motor exactly where the old one sat. Move the axis by hand or with a short jog to confirm smooth travel, then home, re-level and print a calibration part to check layer consistency.
