Cross flow (tangential) fan for the CreatBot D600 Pro
The CreatBot D600 Pro cross flow fan (part 150027) is the OEM cross flow fan for the CreatBot D600 Pro 3D printer. Unlike the small round fans on the print head, a cross flow fan has a long cylindrical impeller that draws air in along its length and pushes it out as a broad, flat stream. Signs the cross flow fan needs replacing
You feel little or no air from the fan outlet while the printer runs.
A droning, scraping or ticking sound that was not there before.
The impeller wobbles or rubs when turned gently by hand with the power off.
The fan runs for a while and then stops.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
Other D600 Pro fans are the sink fan (150024), the print cooling fan (150025) and the power supply cooling fan (150026). The D600 Pro2 and D1000 have their own cross flow fans, parts 150031 and 150035.
Clean first, then replace
Dust settles along the full length of a cross flow impeller and can cut airflow sharply. If the fan still turns freely, cleaning it with a soft brush or compressed air may bring it back. If it stays noisy, rubs, or does not start reliably after cleaning, the motor or bearing is worn and the fan should be replaced with the genuine part.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it before you remove any panel. Take photos of the fan, its brackets and the connector so reassembly is straightforward. Fit the new fan in the same direction, check the impeller spins freely without touching its housing, reconnect and confirm airflow at power on.
