Extruder cable for the CreatBot D600
The CreatBot D600 extruder cable (part 160007) is the OEM cable that connects the extruder assembly on the CreatBot D600 to the printer's electronics. The extruder needs several circuits to work: power for the hotend heater, a temperature sensor signal, power for the fans and drive for the extruder motor. Signs the extruder cable needs replacing
Hotend temperature errors, or a reading that jumps while the heater and sensor themselves test good.
The hotend will not heat, or the heater cuts out partway through a print.
The extruder motor stutters, buzzes or stops feeding.
Discolored, melted or loose pins at a connector, or damaged insulation near the print head.
Heaters and temperature sensors fail too, and the symptoms overlap. Check the resistance of the heater and sensor if you can, or contact Rev1 support for help isolating the fault.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
Extruder cables are model specific. The D600 Pro uses part 160008, the F430 uses 160005, the F1000 uses 160011 and the PEEK-300 uses 160006.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool. Photograph and label each connector at the extruder and at the board end before you disconnect. Route the new cable along the original path and fasten it at the same tie points, keeping it clear of the heater block. Seat every plug firmly, then heat the hotend and run a short extrusion test.
