Signs the X motor needs replacing
Layers shift in the X direction partway through a print, even with the belt correctly tensioned.
The print head stutters, grinds or buzzes as it moves left and right.
The X axis will not home, or stops responding while the Y and Z axes still work.
The motor runs noticeably louder or hotter than it used to.
A loose pulley, a damaged cable or a driver fault on the motherboard can produce the same symptoms. Contact Rev1 support before you order and we will help you confirm the motor is the cause.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D1000 Y axis uses its own motor, part 132011. The D1000 HS is a different machine with its own motors: X motor 132003 and Y motor 132004.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it before you start. Photograph the motor connector and cable routing, then release the belt tension so the belt comes off the pulley without strain. Check whether the drive pulley needs to move from the old motor to the new one, and set it at the same height so the belt runs straight. Re-tension the belt, home the printer and run a test print with long X moves to confirm smooth travel.

Can I use it on the Y axis?
No. Order the D1000 Y motor, part 132011, for the Y axis. Each axis has its own listed part.
Will it fit a D1000 HS?
No. The D1000 HS uses X motor 132003. Rev1 can confirm the right motor if you are unsure which model you have.
