The CreatBot D1000 HS Z-axis timing belt (part 143024) is the OEM timing belt in the Z drive of the CreatBot D1000 HS. Where a Z axis is driven at more than one point, a timing belt links those points so they move together. Signs the Z-axis timing belt needs replacing
The bed will not stay level from one print to the next.
Leveling reports a growing tilt from one side to the other.
First layers are uneven across the plate even after a fresh level.
The belt is cracked, worn, missing teeth or slack.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D1000 HS also uses a separate Z-axis motor belt, part 143023. The standard D1000 uses Z-axis timing belt 143019, which does not fit the HS.
Getting the Z drive back in step
A timing belt swap is only successful if every point of the Z drive ends up where it started. Before removal, bring the bed or gantry to a known height, support it, and mark each pulley against a fixed reference. Fit the new belt with all marks aligned. If the drive does slip out of step during the job, the bed must be trammed mechanically before automatic leveling will give good results.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it. Support the Z assembly so it cannot move. Release the tensioner, swap the belt with the pulley marks aligned, re-tension it and turn the drive slowly by hand while you confirm that all points move together. Home the printer, run leveling and print a full plate first layer to check.
