Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The standard D1000 uses a different closed loop belt, part 143017. The D1000 HS also uses an X-axis belt (143020), Y-axis belt (143021), Z-axis motor belt (143023) and Z-axis timing belt (143024).
Planning the job
Replacing an endless belt takes longer than an open belt because the loop has to be slipped over its pulleys. That usually means releasing the motor mount or tensioner, and sometimes removing a guard or pulley. While the Y drive is open, it is a good time to inspect the Y-axis belt (143021) and the pulleys for wear.
Installation tips
Power off and unplug the printer. Mark the motor or tensioner position before you loosen it, so you can return close to the factory tension. Fit the new loop with the teeth fully engaged on both pulleys, re-tension it, and turn the drive by hand to check for smooth, quiet running. Home the printer and run a test print with fast Y moves.
