D1000 HS X Drive (X-Axis Stepper Driver)
The CreatBot D1000 HS X drive (part 115003) is the OEM stepper motor driver for the X axis of the CreatBot D1000 HS. The D1000 HS has a tall build volume and a large gantry, and the X axis carries the print head back and forth on every layer. The X drive receives step and direction signals from the main control board and supplies the motor current that makes each move. Signs the X drive may need replacing
Layer shifts along the X axis that continue after belts, pulleys and the gantry have been checked.
The X motor buzzes, stutters or will not home, while Y and Z work normally.
The X motor runs correctly when connected to a known good driver.
A driver error on the printer that points to the X axis.
Loose belts, a slipping pulley grub screw or a damaged motor cable cause similar symptoms, so check the mechanics first.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D1000 HS uses a dedicated driver part for each axis: X (115003), Y (115004), Z (115005) and E (115006). The newer D1000 Pro HS uses different parts, for example 115019 for its X axis.
Installation tips
Switch the printer off and unplug it before you open the electronics enclosure. Photograph the driver in place so the orientation is clear, then remove it and fit the new module the same way round. Reconnect the X motor cable, close up, and home the printer. Run a test print with long X moves to confirm there are no shifts.

No. The D1000 Pro HS X axis uses part 115019.
Is the X drive the same part as the Y drive?
CreatBot lists them as separate parts: X is 115003 and Y is 115004. Order the part for the axis that failed.
