Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
This belt is for the D1000 HS. The standard D1000 uses a different X-axis belt, part 143015. The other D1000 HS belts are the Y-axis belt (143021), Y-axis closed loop belt (143022), Z-axis motor belt (143023) and Z-axis timing belt (143024).
Belts on a high speed printer
High speed printing depends on a stiff, consistent connection between motor and print head. A belt that has stretched or lost tension acts like a spring, which shows up as ringing at speed long before it causes a layer shift. Check X and Y belt tension more often on an HS machine, and replace a belt at the first sign of cracking.
Installation tips
Power off and unplug the printer. Photograph the belt route, tensioner and end clamps. Fit the new belt the same way, seat it fully in the pulley and set the tension firm and even. Run the axis by hand, then home the printer and print a test part at your normal speed.
