D1000 HS Temperature Sensor for D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS

The CreatBot D1000 HS temperature sensor (part 106002) is an OEM replacement sensor for the CreatBot D1000 HS and D600 Pro2 HS 3D printers. A temperature sensor reports the actual temperature of the component it monitors back to the control board, which uses that reading to switch the heater on and off. If the reading is wrong or missing, the printer cannot hold a stable temperature, and it will often stop with an error to protect itself. Full specifications →

Signs your temperature sensor needs replacing
The printer shows a temperature error or an obviously wrong reading, for example room temperature on a component that is clearly hot.
The displayed temperature jumps around or drops out during a print.
Heating stops partway through a job and the printer reports a fault.
The sensor lead is pinched, frayed or damaged near the connector.
A loose connector or a damaged extension cable can cause the same symptoms. Check the wiring first, or contact Rev1 support and we will help you narrow it down.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
The D600 Pro2 HS temperature sensor (part 106001) is also listed for these two printers. If you are not sure which one your machine uses, send Rev1 your serial number before ordering. The standard D1000 and D600 Pro2 (non HS) use part 106011 or 106012, and the D1000 Pro HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D400 HS and Ultra Series printers use the Pro-HS heating sensor, part 106015.
Installation tips

Power the printer off, unplug it and let all heated parts cool fully before you touch the sensor. Photograph the routing of the sensor lead and its connector before removing the old one, so the new sensor follows the same path away from moving parts and hot surfaces. Seat the connector firmly, then power up and confirm the reading looks correct at room temperature before you heat anything. Run a short heat-up and watch for a steady reading, then recalibrate and run a test print.

CreatBot D1000 HS Temperature Sensor — Questions
Is this a genuine CreatBot sensor?
Yes. It is CreatBot part 106002, supplied by Rev1 Technologies, an authorized CreatBot dealer.
Will it fit my D1000 Pro HS?
No. The D1000 Pro HS uses the Pro-HS heating sensor, part 106015.
Should I replace the sensor if my printer shows a temperature error?
Not always. Check the connector and cable first, since a loose plug can trigger the same error. If the wiring is sound and the reading is still wrong, the sensor is the likely cause.
