Signs your hotend needs replacing
Repeated clogs or under-extrusion that return after cleaning the nozzle.
The hotend heats slowly, will not hold its set temperature, or shows a temperature error.
Filament leaking around the nozzle or heating block.
Damaged threads, a worn nozzle bore, or damaged hotend wiring.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
Similar printer names use different hotends. The D1000 Pro HS uses the Pro-HS hotend 0.8 mm (part 104023) or the quick remove hotend 0.8 mm (part 104028). The D600 Pro2 HS uses part 104001. The standard D1000 uses the V3 0.8 mm hotends, part 104014 (LT) and part 104015 (HT).
Choosing the right D1000 HS hotend
The D1000 HS has three 0.8 mm hotend options: this standard hotend (104002), the quick remove hotend V1 (104004) and the quick remove hotend V2 (104007). Order the same style that is installed on your printer now. If you are unsure which one you have, send Rev1 a photo of your print head and your serial number and we will confirm the right part.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool fully before you remove it. Photograph the heater and sensor connections before disconnecting them so they go back in the same place. After fitting the new hotend, check the nozzle height, relevel the build platform and run a short test print to confirm steady extrusion.
