Signs the heating tube needs replacing
The hotend heats slowly or never reaches its set temperature.
The printer reports a heating error or stops a print because the hotend temperature drops.
Under-extrusion or weak layers that persist after you clear the nozzle and check the filament path.
Visible damage to the heating tube leads or a broken connection at the heating block.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
CreatBot also lists the D600 Pro2 HS heating tube (part 105001) for these same two printers. Printers that look similar use different parts: the standard D1000 and D600 Pro2 use part 105010 or 105011, and the D1000 Pro HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D400 HS use the Pro-HS heating tube, part 105014.
Choosing the right heating tube
Start from the printer model, then compare with the heating tube installed in your hotend. If you are unsure whether your machine takes 105002 or 105001, send Rev1 your printer serial number and we will confirm the correct part.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool fully before you touch the heating block. Photograph the wiring and connector positions first. Loosen the retaining screw, remove the old heating tube, seat the new one fully in the block and tighten the screw so the cartridge cannot move. Route the leads away from moving parts, then run a heating test and a short print before returning to production work.
