Installation tips
Heat the hotend and unload the filament before you start. Then switch the printer off, unplug it and let the print head cool. Photograph every connector and the cable routing, remove the old unit and fit the new one with the same hardware and wiring. After installation, load filament, run a manual extrusion test and check that the filament feeds smoothly without clicking. Re-check nozzle height and run a calibration print before going back to production work.
