Cross flow (tangential) fan for the CreatBot D1000

The CreatBot D1000 cross flow fan (part 150035) is the OEM cross flow fan for the CreatBot D1000 large format 3D printer. A cross flow fan, also called a tangential fan, uses a long barrel shaped impeller to move a wide, even sheet of air instead of the round jet from an axial fan. That makes it the right choice where air has to move along a long span inside a big machine. When it fails, that airflow stops and the area it serves runs warmer than the printer was designed for. Signs the cross flow fan needs replacing
No airflow from the fan outlet when the printer is running.
A humming, rubbing or rattling sound, often from a worn bearing or an impeller touching its housing.
The fan starts slowly or only spins after a nudge.
Dust packed into the impeller that cleaning does not fix.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D1000 also uses a sink fan (150032), a print cooling fan (150033) and a power supply cooling fan (150034). The D600 Pro and D600 Pro2 have their own cross flow fans, parts 150027 and 150031, and the F430 and F430 NX versions come in 110V and 220V.
Caring for a cross flow fan
The long impeller collects dust across its whole length, which unbalances it and reduces airflow. With the printer off and unplugged, brush or blow out the blades during routine maintenance. If the noise continues after cleaning, the bearing is usually worn and the fan should be replaced.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it before you open any panel. Photograph the fan, its mounting and the connector before removal. Fit the new fan in the same position and direction, make sure the impeller turns freely by hand, then reconnect and confirm airflow at power on.

Is this the same fan as the D600 Pro2 cross flow fan?
No. The D600 Pro2 uses part 150031. Order the fan listed for your model.
