CreatBotD1000 Cooling FanGenuine CreatBot Replacement Part
For the CreatBot D1000

The CreatBot D1000 cooling fan (part 150033) is the OEM print cooling fan for the CreatBot D1000 large format 3D printer. It blows air onto the plastic as it leaves the nozzle, so each line sets before the next one lands on it. Good part cooling is what gives you clean overhangs, tidy bridges and sharp small features, especially in PLA and other materials that need fast cooling. Full specifications →

Signs the cooling fan needs replacing
Overhangs droop or curl and bridges sag where they used to print cleanly.
Small features and tips look melted or blobby.
The fan does not spin when the slicer calls for cooling, or spins slowly.
Clicking, buzzing or grinding from the print head.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D1000 uses four different fans: this cooling fan, the sink fan (150032), the power supply cooling fan (150034) and the cross flow fan (150035). The D1000 HS is a different machine and uses front and back cooling fans, parts 150005 and 150006.
Cooling fan or sink fan?

The two fans on the print head do different jobs. The sink fan runs whenever the hotend is hot and keeps the heat sink cool so filament does not soften too early. The cooling fan is controlled by your slicer and cools the printed part. If prints look soft and droopy, suspect the cooling fan. If you get clogs or under-extrusion, check the sink fan first.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let the hotend cool before you work on the print head. Note the cable route and connector, and fit the new fan in the same orientation so air still points at the nozzle area. Keep the cable clear of moving parts and the heater block, then run a short print with cooling on to confirm the fan responds.
