CreatBotBed Mesh Sensor, EddyGenuine CreatBot Replacement Part
Bed Mesh Sensor (Eddy) for D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS, D800 Ultra and D1200 Ultra

The CreatBot bed mesh sensor (part 114013) is the OEM eddy current probe used for bed leveling on CreatBot's current HS and Ultra Series printers. An eddy current sensor measures the distance to a metal build plate without touching it, by sensing how the plate affects a small magnetic field. The printer uses those readings to build a bed mesh, a grid of height readings across the plate, and then compensates for any unevenness while it prints. On a large format bed, that mesh is what makes a consistent first layer possible from corner to corner. Full specifications →

Signs the bed mesh sensor needs replacing
Bed mesh calibration fails, stops partway or reports a probe error.
Mesh results change a lot from one run to the next on the same plate.
First layers are too high in some areas and too low in others, even after a fresh mesh.
The sensor or its cable is physically damaged, for example after a head crash.
A loose cable, a dirty or warped plate or a configuration change can cause similar results. Contact Rev1 support and we will help you rule those out first.

Getting accurate meshes

Eddy current sensors read the metal of the build plate, so keep the plate clean and seated flat on the bed before every mesh. Run the mesh with the bed at the temperature you print at, because a large plate can change shape as it heats. Avoid knocking the sensor when you clean the nozzle or change plates, since its height relative to the nozzle affects the result.
Installation tips
Power the printer off before you disconnect the sensor. Note how the cable is routed and clipped, mount the new sensor in the same position and at the same height, and reconnect the cable securely. After installation, run the printer's sensor calibration and a full bed mesh, then print a first layer test across the whole plate.
