Do I need a hardened nozzle?
Yes. The glass fiber that stiffens this filament is abrasive and will wear out a standard brass nozzle. Use a hardened-steel or other abrasion-resistant nozzle.
How is PETG-GF different from PETG-CF?
Both reinforce PETG for stiffness. Glass fiber (GF) is stiff and more economical; carbon fiber (CF) is stiffer still with a premium matte-black finish. We'll help you choose based on your part and budget.
Do I have to dry it?
Drying before printing is recommended for the best surface finish and to eliminate stringing. Keep the spool in a dry box between prints.
Do I need an enclosure?
