CreatBot Large-Format 3D Printers — Industrial FFF up to 1 m³

Large-format 3D printing means printing a part in one piece instead of sectioning and bonding it. CreatBot builds factory-assembled, sealed heated-chamber FFF machines from a 620 mm envelope up to a full cubic meter, running open engineering and carbon-filled thermoplastics with no cartridge lock-in. This page compares the large-format CreatBot lineup head to head and helps you match build envelope, chamber temperature, and throughput to the parts you actually make.

How to choose

Choosing a CreatBot large-format machine

The decisions that actually matter for this class of machine — size them to your parts, not to a spec sheet.

Build envelope

Size the machine to your largest single part plus a margin. The D600 Pro 3 HS gives a 620 mm cube; the D1000 Pro HS prints a full 1050 × 1050 × 1050 mm in one piece.

Chamber temperature

An actively heated, sealed chamber is what holds dimensional accuracy on big parts. Both machines run an 80 °C active heated chamber with double-layer insulation.

Materials

Both run open 1.75 mm filament across PLA through carbon- and glass-filled engineering grades (PC-CF, PA-CF, PPS-CF), with a 420 °C maximum nozzle temperature on both machines — no cartridge lock-in.

Dual extrusion & throughput

Both carry two independent auto-rising extruders for soluble supports or two-material parts, with high-speed Klipper motion. Factor the dual-extruder envelope (slightly smaller) if you print with both heads.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a large-format 3D printer?

Practically, anything with a build envelope past roughly 500 mm per axis, so you print a big part in one piece instead of sectioning and bonding it. CreatBot’s large-format line starts at a 620 mm cube (D600 Pro 3 HS) and runs to a full cubic meter (D1000 Pro HS).

D600 Pro 3 HS or D1000 Pro HS — which do I need?

Match the machine to your largest single part. If it fits inside 620 mm, the D600 Pro 3 HS is the efficient choice. If you need parts up to a full meter, or you want the highest nozzle temperatures for PPS-CF and similar, step up to the D1000 Pro HS. Send us the part and we’ll tell you which one is enough.

Are these open-material, or locked to CreatBot filament?

Fully open. Both run standard 1.75 mm filament from any supplier — no chips, no cartridges, no per-part licensing. Run PC-CF, PA-CF, or PPS-CF from whatever source you prefer.

Can I print a sample of my part before buying?

Yes. Send your file or ship us the part and we print a free sample on the exact machine you’re considering, then tell you straight which machine to buy — even if it’s the smaller one. Larger and production-quantity jobs are quoted case by case.

What support and financing come with a large-format CreatBot?

Rev1 is the sole authorized CreatBot service provider in the US. Every system ships with setup, operator training, and direct phone access to our application engineers in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Business financing runs to 72 months on approved credit, and we take trade-ins.
