Bambu Lab Filament & Materials
Genuine Bambu Lab filament, tuned for Bambu printers and the AMS — everyday PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA; engineering PC and carbon-reinforced PET-CF, PPA-CF and PPS-CF; a deep specialty PLA range (Silk, Glow, Marble, Metal, Wood); and the TPU and support materials that complete a multi-material workflow. All 1.75 mm and in US stock. Pick by what the part needs below.

How to choose a Bambu Lab filament
Match the material to the part’s job — temperature, load and finish — then to a printer that can run it.
Operating temperature
PLA and PETG for room-temperature prototypes; ABS, ASA and PC for warm or outdoor use; and PPS or carbon-reinforced grades for continuous high-temperature, chemical and under-hood service. Hot materials need an enclosed P-, X- or H-Series.
Strength & stiffness
For load-bearing or dimensionally-critical parts, carbon-filled (CF) grades like PET-CF and PPA-CF add the most stiffness and a clean matte finish; glass- and fiber-reinforced grades trade some stiffness for toughness.
Keep filament dry
PETG, PA, PVA and CF grades absorb moisture and print poorly when wet. The AMS 2 Pro actively dries filament and the AMS HT dries to 85 °C — pair moisture-sensitive materials with a drying AMS.
Supports & finish
For overhangs and internal channels, pair the model material with PVA (dissolvable) or a matched break-away support (for PLA/PETG, ABS, or PA/PET) so complex geometry comes off clean.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to use Bambu Lab filament?
No — Bambu printers run standard 1.75 mm filament from any supplier. Bambu’s own filament ships with validated profiles and an RFID tag the AMS reads automatically for settings and color, which makes multi-color and multi-material printing effortless.
Which Bambu filament is best for strong functional parts?
For stiffness and heat resistance, the engineering grades — PC, PET-CF, PPA-CF and PPS-CF. Carbon-filled (CF) grades need a hardened nozzle and an enclosed printer, and print best dried in an AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT.
What filament do I need for multi-color printing?
Any AMS-compatible filament. Load up to four spools per AMS (up to 16 colors across four units, or up to 24 filaments on the H-Series with AMS 2 Pro + AMS HT). PLA Basic and PETG are the easiest starting point.
Do I need to dry Bambu filament?
PETG, PA, PVA and carbon-filled grades absorb moisture and print poorly when wet. The AMS 2 Pro actively dries filament and the AMS HT dries to 85 °C — pair moisture-sensitive materials with a drying AMS.
Are these in US stock?
Yes — genuine Bambu Lab filament ships from our US warehouse, no overseas lead time, with help choosing the right grade for your part. Call (248) 707-2950.
