3D Printer Technician

You tune Klipper, build CoreXY machines and flash firmware for fun. We will pay you to do it on industrial equipment, for customers who need it to work.

What you would do

Install, commission and service industrial FDM printers, large format and high temperature, in our shop and at customer sites.
Set up and support 3D scanners and the metrology software behind them.
Diagnose the hard stuff: motion, extrusion, thermal, firmware.
Keep the demo floor printing and the sample parts flowing.
Talk to engineers and shop owners like a peer, because you are one.

Who this fits

You run Klipper, or you have built a CoreXY machine: Voron, RatRig, or your own design.
You have swapped hotends, tuned pressure advance and input shaper, and fixed a wobbly Z.
You can read a wiring diagram and a G-code file.
You can drive to a customer in Metro Detroit and represent us well.
Bonus: 3D scanning, CAD, or you have fixed printers for other people.

The deal

Full time, on site in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Pay based on what you can already do. US based company, small team, real machines, and the freedom to fix things properly.
