Do I need the spray gun to use AESUB Green?
Yes. AESUB Green is a bulk liquid (no propellant) designed exclusively for spray-gun application. The matching AESUB Green Spray Gun ($643) handles the formulation properly — using a generic shop spray gun is not recommended.
Why bulk instead of aerosol cans?
Aerosol cans (like AESUB Blue) are perfect for shop bench-sized parts. For large industrial scans — yacht hulls, vehicle bodies, machine frames — you need the volume that only bulk liquid provides. 1L of Green covers about 15 m².
What scanners is AESUB Green for?
Designed for laser scanners working over long distances on large parts — FARO, Leica, GOM, ZEISS, and similar industrial-scale systems. The fine matte layer holds together at the longer scan ranges required for big surfaces.
Can I order 5L or 200L drums?

How does AESUB Green compare to AESUB Violet bulk?
Both are bulk spray-gun liquids. Green: 1–2 hr scan window, ~6 hr sublimation, ~10–20 µm layer. Violet bulk: 2–6 hr scan window, ~24 hr sublimation, 4–8 µm layer (longer holds, thinner coat). Pick by scan duration and required layer thickness.
Does it sublimate fully like the aerosol AESUBs?
Yes — same vanishing chemistry. After ~6 hours at 21°C the matte layer fully sublimates with zero residue. No cleanup, no scanner contamination, no part transport between matting and measurement areas.
