Bambu Lab Hotend — P1 Series Genuine Replacement Hotend. Your Nozzle, Your Way.

Genuine Replacement Hotend. Your Nozzle, Your Way.

Bambu Hotend for P1 Series — complete hotend with cooling fan and hardened steel nozzle

The hotend is the wear part of any FDM printer — the nozzle abrades, the heat block ages, and print quality drifts. This is the genuine Bambu Lab replacement hotend for the P1P and P1S, available in the nozzle size that fits your work and in two configurations: the Hotend on its own, or the Complete Hotend with the ceramic heater, thermistor, and cooling fan pre-assembled for a fast, no-fuss swap. It heats to 300°C with ±1°C control and a rated ~1,500-hour service life. Full specifications →

Two Ways to Buy It

Hotend, or Complete Hotend.

Bambu offers this part in two forms so you buy exactly what your repair needs. The Hotend is the core heat block and nozzle unit — the right choice when your fan and wiring are fine and you just need a fresh nozzle and block. The Complete Hotend adds the ceramic heater, thermistor, and cooling fan pre-assembled, so it drops straight into the toolhead with no transferring of parts — the fastest path back to printing.

Bambu P1 hotend configurations — Hotend plus heater, thermistor and cooling fan equals Complete Hotend

Buy the Core, or the Ready-to-Drop-In Assembly.

If you’re comfortable moving your existing heater, thermistor, and fan across, the Hotend keeps the cost down. If you want the quickest, cleanest swap — or your fan or heater is also due — the Complete Hotend is the one to grab. Rev1 can help you pick the right configuration and nozzle size for your printer and materials so you order once and fix it right.

Nozzle Options

From 0.2mm Fine Detail to 0.8mm High Flow.

Pick the nozzle to match the work. 0.2 mm (stainless) resolves fine detail and small, intricate models. 0.4 mm (hardened steel) is the everyday all-rounder — the best balance of speed and detail. 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm (hardened steel) push far more material per second for fast, large, or high-strength parts. Hardened steel handles abrasive filaments — carbon-fiber, glass-fiber, glow, and metal-fill — without wearing out like brass.

Performance & Lifespan

300°C, Tightly Controlled, Long-Lived.

The hotend reaches up to 300°C and holds temperature to ±1°C — the stability that keeps extrusion consistent and layers clean across a long print. Bambu rates it for roughly 1,500 hours of service. Swapping in a fresh, genuine hotend is the single most effective fix when a well-used printer starts under-extruding, clogging, or leaving rough surfaces.

Compatibility

Made for the P1P and P1S.

This hotend is designed specifically for Bambu Lab’s P1 series — the P1P and P1S. Bambu’s X1 series and A1 series use different hotends, so it’s important to match the part to the printer. If you tell Rev1 your exact machine, along with the nozzle size and configuration you want, we’ll confirm the correct hotend before you order.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Hotend and the Complete Hotend?

The Hotend is the core heat block and nozzle unit. The Complete Hotend is the same core plus the ceramic heater, thermistor, and cooling fan pre-assembled, so it drops straight into the toolhead without transferring any parts from your old hotend. Choose the Hotend if your heater and fan are still good and you just need a fresh nozzle and block; choose the Complete Hotend for the fastest, cleanest swap or if those other parts are also worn.

Which nozzle size should I get?

0.4 mm is the everyday standard — the best balance of speed and detail, and the right default for most users. Choose 0.2 mm (stainless) for fine, intricate models where resolution matters most; choose 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm (hardened) to push more material for faster, larger, or high-strength parts. If you print abrasive filaments like carbon-fiber or glass-fiber composites, use a hardened steel nozzle so it doesn’t wear out.

Do I need hardened steel or is stainless fine?

For standard filaments — PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU — stainless or brass is fine. For abrasive filaments filled with carbon fiber, glass fiber, glow powder, or metal, hardened steel is strongly recommended: abrasive particles quickly wear a soft nozzle out of spec, which degrades dimensional accuracy. The 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm options here are hardened steel; the 0.2 mm is stainless for fine detail with non-abrasive filaments.

When should I replace my hotend?

The hotend is a wear part. Replace it when you see persistent under-extrusion or clogging that cleaning doesn’t fix, rough or inconsistent surfaces, a visibly worn or damaged nozzle tip, or after heavy use with abrasive filaments. Bambu rates this hotend for roughly 1,500 hours; a fresh, genuine hotend is often the quickest way to restore a well-used printer to like-new print quality.

Will it fit my printer?

This hotend is made specifically for the Bambu Lab P1 series — the P1P and P1S. The X1 series and A1 series use different hotends, so match the part to your exact printer. If you’re unsure, tell Rev1 your machine and we’ll confirm the correct hotend, nozzle size, and configuration before you order.

Is this a genuine Bambu Lab hotend?

Yes. Rev1 Technologies is an authorized Bambu Lab reseller, and this is a genuine Bambu Lab hotend — not a third-party clone. With a heated part running to 300°C and holding ±1°C, genuine components matter for correct fit, safe and stable temperature behavior, and consistent print quality.
