What are PC/ABS pellets for?
Making your own PC/ABS filament on a home filament extruder, or feeding a pellet-fed 3D printer directly. They are also used for injection molding and materials research. Bulk pellets are the most economical way to run PC/ABS at volume.
How do I process them?
Pre-dry at 110 °C for 4 hours, then extrude at 230–250 °C. Drying is essential — wet resin extrudes with bubbles in the filament.
Is this the same PC/ABS as your spooled filament?
Yes — it is the same USA-made 3DXMAX™ PC/ABS resin, just in bulk pellet form. The published property data applies to both.
