PLA yellows and softens in the sun; PETG holds up but flexes; plain ASA is weatherproof but can warp on big flat parts. ASA-CF is carbon-fiber-reinforced ASA that shrugs off sunlight, rain, and heat without fading, chalking, or cracking — while the chopped carbon fiber adds rigidity, strength-to-weight, and dimensional stability, so parts hold their shape with far less warping than plain ASA. Yes — required. The chopped carbon fiber that stiffens ASA-CF is abrasive and quickly wears out a standard brass nozzle. Run a hardened-steel (or ruby/tungsten) nozzle, 0.4 mm or larger. Otherwise ASA-CF prints like ASA: an enclosure and a hot bed are strongly recommended.

How do I stop ASA-CF from warping and cracking?

What finish does ASA-CF have?
