Genuine Bambu Lab PET-CF, engineered for demanding, functional parts.
Authentic, lot-fresh Bambu Lab PET-CF. Rev1 Technologies is your authorized Bambu Lab reseller and US support partner, Auburn Hills, Michigan.
The dimensional stability of PET — with carbon-fiber stiffness.
Bambu PET-CF blends tough PET with chopped carbon fiber. The carbon fiber raises hardness, stiffness and mechanical strength, while PET keeps the low warping and shrinkage that make the part come out dimensionally accurate. Add excellent heat resistance and very low moisture absorption, and you get a filament suited to load-bearing structures and parts used in hot, humid environments — jigs, fixtures, brackets, ducting and functional end-use components.
Strong, stiff, and stable under heat.

Holds its shape where PLA and plain PET give up.
Carbon-fiber reinforcement delivers high rigidity and creep resistance, so printed parts keep tight matching accuracy under mechanical load. With strong heat resistance, PET-CF stays dimensionally stable at temperatures that would soften ordinary PLA — ideal for parts near motors, electronics, and engine bays.
Four reasons it prints tough parts.
Chopped carbon fiber raises stiffness, hardness and mechanical strength.
Small strength and stiffness losses even in saturated humidity — good for humid environments.
Creep- and warp-resistant, so prints achieve excellent matching accuracy.
Keeps its shape at temperatures that deform standard PLA and PET.
PET-CF vs. common alternatives.
Where PET-CF fits against common Bambu materials for functional parts. Choose by stiffness, heat, and ease of printing.

FAQ
Bambu PET-CF — Common Questions
Do I need a hardened nozzle for PET-CF?
Yes. Carbon-fiber filament is abrasive and will wear a brass nozzle quickly — use a hardened steel nozzle, 0.4 mm or larger. The 0.2 mm nozzle is not compatible.
Is PET-CF compatible with the AMS?
No — Bambu lists PET-CF as not compatible with the AMS series. Run it from an external spool holder.
Do I have to dry it before printing?
Yes. PET-CF is sensitive to moisture — dry at 80 °C for about 8 hours before use and store with desiccant for the best surface finish and mechanical properties.
What is PET-CF good for?
Load-bearing functional parts that need stiffness, dimensional accuracy and heat resistance — jigs, fixtures, brackets, ducting, and end-use components in warm or humid environments.
