PETG durability and chemical resistance — from recycled material.
PETG is one of the most useful everyday engineering filaments: tough, chemical-resistant, and easy to print. ECOMAX™ R-PETG delivers that same PETG performance from recycled material — a durable filament with excellent strength that stays flexible, resists a range of chemicals better than PLA or ABS, and cleans up with isopropyl alcohol. It's unfilled and compounded in the USA, so a standard brass nozzle prints it and you get a more sustainable option without giving up function.

Strong yet flexible — with a smaller footprint.
Recycled PETG for durable functional parts and sustainable prototyping.
ECOMAX™ R-PETG combines real strength with enough flexibility to take a knock, and its improved chemical resistance over PLA and ABS lets parts survive contact with cleaners and solvents. Because it's recycled PETG, it's a lower-impact choice for prototypes, fixtures, and functional parts where you don't need a specialty polymer. It prints on any heated-bed printer with standard settings — no enclosure, no hardened nozzle.
What you get from recycled PETG.
The practical benefits of ECOMAX™ R-PETG. Full mechanical data sheet available from Rev1 on request.
Made from recycled PETG — a lower-impact choice for functional parts.
Excellent strength that stays flexible — parts flex and absorb impact.
Better chemical resistance than PLA or ABS for parts that see solvents.
Wipes clean with isopropyl alcohol as needed.
Prints like standard PETG on any heated-bed printer — no enclosure needed.
No glass or carbon fiber — non-abrasive, so a standard brass nozzle prints it.
Prints like standard PETG — easy and forgiving.
ECOMAX™ R-PETG runs on the same conditions as ordinary PETG. The typical PETG starting points below work well; Rev1 can supply a validated profile for your printer — just ask.
Standard PETG hotend range (about 230–250°C) — no exotic hardware required.
A warm bed (around 70–90°C) with a suitable adhesive for reliable first-layer grip.
PETG prints with minimal warping, so an enclosure is optional even on larger parts.
Unfilled and non-abrasive — a standard 0.4 mm brass nozzle is fine.
Like all PETG it's mildly hygroscopic — dry before printing for the best surface.

Two colors — the same recycled PETG blend.

Black & Dark Grey.
Choose your color in the buy-box — the spool preview updates as you pick.
ECOMAX™ R-PETG ships in Black and Dark Grey, in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm on 1 kg and 4 kg reels. Every color prints the same recycled PETG blend, so you can standardize settings and swap the reel. Need a specific color in bulk? Ask us about case pricing.

FAQ
3DXTech ECOMAX R-PETG — Common Questions
What is R-PETG?
R-PETG is recycled PETG. It gives you PETG's durability, flexibility, and chemical resistance from recycled material — a more sustainable option for functional parts without switching to a specialty polymer.
How does it print?
Like standard PETG — a heated bed, a hotend in the usual PETG range, a standard brass nozzle, and no enclosure. Dry it before printing for the cleanest surface. Rev1 can send a validated profile on request.
Where can I get the mechanical data?
The full technical data sheet with mechanical and thermal values is available from Rev1 on request — use any “Request the TDS” button on this page and we'll send the current revision.
Is it chemically resistant?
Yes — it has improved chemical resistance compared to PLA or ABS, and it wipes clean with isopropyl alcohol as needed.
What colors and sizes are available?
Black and Dark Grey, in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm, on 1 kg and 4 kg reels. Ask us for bulk.
Is it made in the USA?
Yes — 3DXTech manufactures and compounds ECOMAX™ R-PETG in its 68,000 sq-ft facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
